This season the game develops further as the kids get older, with the introduction of scrums (uncontested), mauls, rucks and a move to a slightly larger ball (size 4). Even more reason to hold it in two hands!!

Our coaching philosophy is based on 3 very important points:
1. To recognise the importance of fun and enjoyment as reasons to play
2. To be a positive role model to the children
3. To adhere to and promote the rugby values - Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline, Sportsmanship

We operate an inclusive policy for all players without the use of A or B teams but we recognise that players develop skills at different speeds and we accommodate that in our coaching.

WE WELCOME ANY NEW PLAYERS AT ANY STAGE OF THE SEASON to come along and try the sport out for a few weeks without any commitment to join, the coaches names and faces are on our site. Just ask at the club on a Sunday morning for the U10's and someone will direct you, but currently we are on Pitch 4 and start training at 9.30am.

We also hope to have a few more social events for all the family this year - perhaps a team trip to a Premiership or European cup game or two so watch this space.
