On Saturday 16th February Brentwood will send a squad to take part in a tournament at the new Saracens Allianz Stadium, making it the first Brentwood Team to not only play a match on an artifical pitch, but also to play at Saracens new Allianz stadium.

They will take in games against Saracens, Harpenden, Haringey, Chess Valley and Colchester as part of the Alan Day Volkswagen Cup on the artifial pitch.

This is a pre-cursor to the first official Saracens match at the new Stadium, which the squad will stay to watch.

Apart from being a huge honor for the squad and club, I am sure all parents will be pleased that the kit will stay clean!

Many of the players will also be taking part in the Saracens training camp the following week at Brentwood RFC.
