This Saturday will see the club dressed in Pink as we host our annual Ladies Lunch in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness. Completely sold out with 104 members, friends and family coming together to help raise some money for this wonderful charity whilst enjoying some good food and free flowing Prosecco. The meet is 12.30pm with a prompt 1pm sit down so don't be late, bring plenty of cash for the raffle and donation boxes and wear something pink!
On the pitch the 1st XV will be entertaining Chelmsford RFC to see if they can remain unbeaten and make it 5 wins in a row. Its been a great start, winning at Woodford, Eton Manor and Wanstead and a home win against Wymondham but the injuries are mounting up with another big loss on Saturday as Jack Mayes broke his jaw so best of luck Jack in your recovery.
Last weeks win at Wanstead was another solid performance with a 23-14 win but the boys will know that they should have been more than 20 points up at half time with many missed opportunities but any away win is a good win so we'll take it.
The 2nd's are struggling with injuries and unavailability and went down 45-10 at Wanstead last week and it doesn't get any easier as they travel to Hertford this week so best of luck.
The bar opens at 12 Noon Saturday and there will be hot pies, sausage rolls and filled rolls for those that need it.
