In late August this year the BRFC mini's arranged a Nuclear Taster session. Many players and their siblings joined for the fun and adventure. Parents were also encouraged to participate.
After a quick warm up and some practice obstacles the group made their way around the Nuclear course. Starting with a climbing wall that even gave adults a bit of vertigo, it was clear the challenges were going to be more than we had bargained for.
Through drainage pipes we scurried, through thigh high mud swamps we crawled but none gave up. Along ropes we ran and swung to try avoid the murky mud, but alas we all got muddy in the end. We ran a distance and it started to rain, but that was of no concern to our tough mudders. And in the end, the players smiling faces were the proof that they had beaten the challenge and do in fact LOVE MUD.
A great morning adventure, and all were proud of our BRFC mini's.
Thanks to Andrew Rose for organising - we hope this has set a precedent
